WhatsApp Optional

Faster than email for things that will not wait — a price move, a buyer enquiry, an event next week. Egytex sends at most two promotional messages a month, and you can stop them from inside WhatsApp at any time.

We send one confirmation message. Nothing else until you reply to it.
Alerts I asked for Price moves past your threshold, a new report, a buyer enquiry about your listing. Nothing promotional.
Announcements Events Egytex is attending, and occasional portal news. Two a month at the very most.
Why this is a separate question. Agreeing to email does not agree you to WhatsApp. Egytex records the date, the wording you were shown and nothing more, because WhatsApp requires a business to be able to show why it messaged you.

Language

Where an Arabic version of an article exists, we will send you that one. Where it does not, you get the English.

Take a break instead

On holiday, or mid-season and too busy to read anything? Pause everything and it resumes by itself. Most people who pause come back; most people who unsubscribe do not.

Unsubscribe from everything

One click, no questions, effective immediately. Transactional email — receipts, verification codes, replies to things you sent us — continues, because it is not marketing.

This also stops WhatsApp. If you only want less, not none, turning off the two or three above works better and keeps the price alerts.

We need to know who you are

Preference links last 30 days, so an older email will not open this page any more. Tell us your address and we will send a fresh one.

Why we do not just take your word for it. If this page changed someone’s settings on the strength of a typed address alone, anyone could unsubscribe anyone. The link proves the address belongs to whoever is holding the inbox.

Would less have been enough? Most people who leave wanted one email, not none.
