$500 million Turkish investment in Egypt

Türkiye's Ambassador to Cairo, Salih Mutlu Şen, stated that at least $500 million in Turkish investments will be made in Egypt by 2024. Şen noted that Turkish companies, particularly in the textile sector, are either increasing capacity or working to establish new facilities, and that the Turkish company Polaris, which operates three industrial zones in Egypt, is also preparing for two new zones.
