Export value and volume figures are compiled monthly from CAPMAS (Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics) foreign trade releases and GOEIC export certification records, cross-referenced against UN Comtrade HS-code data (chapters 50–63) where CAPMAS detail is incomplete. Figures typically lag the reporting month by 4–6 weeks, consistent with CAPMAS's own publication schedule. Category splits (knit/woven/yarn/fabric) are Egytex's own grouping of underlying HS codes and may not match category definitions used by other publishers.
