Cotton benchmarks are compiled weekly from Alexandria Cotton Exporters' Association (ACEA) bulletins and cross-checked against mill and merchant quotations. Yarn prices reflect ex-mill quotations gathered directly from Egytex-listed spinning mills and are published as a simple average where 3+ quotes are available. Figures are indicative benchmarks, not transaction prices, and should not be used as the sole basis for contract pricing.
