With the scrapping of quotas, India apparel exports are set to reach $25bn by October from $6bn now, according to industry estimates. The previous year saw at least a few apparel majors start the process of increasing capacities to meet rising requirements. This includes Raymond, Zodiac, Madura Garments and Gokual Das, OrientCraft and Shirt Company.
