Big Jump In Garment Exports Reported
Garment exporters in Jordan continued to win market share from other nations in the first
Garment exporters in Jordan continued to win market share from other nations in the first six months of this year as clothing exports soared to $183 million from $109m in the year-ago period.
Figures released by trade chiefs on Wednesday showed apparel exports accounted for almost a fifth of the country’s total exports in the first half.
Officials said this is mainly due to recent heavy investment in industrial zones that qualify for duty-free access to the US.
