China: Cooperation with TTF and EURATEX
Taiwan Textile Federation (TTF) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the European Textile and Clothing Confederation (EURATEX). The agreement is likely to help apparel manufacturers from Taiwan and Europe to strengthen their competitiveness in China and in other world markets.

TTF Chairman William Wong and Dr Peter Pfneisl EURATEX Chairman signed this MoU on behalf of their respective organizations.
The European Union is now considered the largest bloc in world trade for textiles and apparel has an annual turnover of € 500 billion. EU textile and clothing sector, employing more than two million employees at 128,000 units per year and producing clothing and textiles worth more than € 200 billion.
EURATEX, headquartered in Brussels, Belgium is the only organization representing the EU textile and apparel industry.
Aiming to provide assistance for domestic textile and apparel manufacturers, TTF has been considered by international partners, and in accordance with the same has signed an MoU with textile organizations in Vietnam, South Korea, China, India, Bangladesh and Indonesia.
