China Cotton Imports Rise slightly in June.
Cotton imports of China improved slightly by 5% in June to 177213 metric tons as compared to the last year, said the General Administration of Customs.

For the first half of the year, China has imported 1.54 million tons of cotton, slightly more than double the amount a year earlier.
China is the world's largest cotton importer and gets most of its supplies from producing countries such as the U.S., Uzbekistan and Australia.
