EGYPT: Cairo stops importing Indonesian textiles due to crisis
Egypt has decided to temporarily halt the imports of some Indonesian textile products in regards to the country's ongoing political crisis.

Indonesian Textile Association (API) chairman Ade Sudrajat Usman said Thursday that Egyptian importers would halt the imports, especially of Indonesian sarongs, until the situation in the country improved.
He added, as quoted by kontan.co.id, that Cairo was among places in Egypt halting the imports, while Alexandria was still doing business as usual.
Egypt was the second largest importer of Indonesian sarongs after the United Arab Emirates. The total value of Indonesian textile exports to Egypt stood at US$200 million last year
