EGYPT: Egyptian Cotton Prices Rising Still
The contracting prices of exporting the Egyptian long staple and extra long staple cottons to the international markets kept on rising, with the end of the 36th week of the current Exportation Season for Cotton 2007-2008.

Price of type Giza 86 (Long) rose to 116.25 cent/pound, with an increase of 2.25 cents, compared to last week. Type Giza 88 (Extra Long) also rose to be 124.50 cent/pound, with an increase of 2.00 cents. The formal rate value of the Support Program of super long cottons, this week, became 1.74 cent/pound.
