EGYPT: Egypt's Alcotexa sells 50 Tons of Cotton in the past week.
Egypt's Alexandria Cotton Exporters' Association (Alcotexa) committed to sell 50 tonnes of Giza 88 cotton in the week that ended on November 20, an Alcotexa official told Reuters on Sunday.

Alcotexa's export commitments for the 2010/11 season, which began in September, are now 82,569.5 tonnes of cotton worth $295.64 million, the official said.
By this time last year, Alcotexa had sold 25,352 tonnes of cotton worth $54.8 million.
