Egypt invests in re-building Ginning sector with ‘Bajaj-India’
Egypt Public Business Sector Minister Dr. Ashraf el-Sharqawi reviewed Saturday with representatives of the Bajaj Company the final terms a contract to develop the ginning machinery of the Cotton and Textile Industries Holding Company.

This came during a visit to Bajaj Steel Industries Ltd. In India, which is expected to sign a contract with Cotton and Textile Industries Holding Company within the coming days, the ministry said in a statement on Saturday.
The minister inspected Bajaj facilities and the manufacturing processes, and checked up models of the machineries, planned to be exported to the Cotton and Textile Industries Holding Company.
Egypt Public Business Sector Minister Dr. Ashraf el-Sharqawi met during his visit, India’s Textile Minister Smriti Irani on Friday in the beginning of his visit to India at invitation from the Indian minister, where they discussed means of increasing bilateral cooperation in the textile industry development.
