Egypt - New 'Italian' Weaving Mill Successfully Inaugurated
Earlier this week the new 'Albini' weaving mill was inaugurated in the Borg El Arab Industrial Zone, West of Alexandria. The Mill was established to manufacture high quality shirting fabrics made from the World renowned Egyptian Cotton.

The inauguration ceremony was carried out under the auspices of His Excellency Minister Rachid Mohamed Rachid, Egypt's Minister of Foreign Trade and Industry and His Excellency Minister Claudio Scaiola, Italy's Minister of Production Activities.
The new mill was established with an initial investment of approximately $12 Million USD and is supposed to be a first of several new Italian investments in Egypt directed towards the textile and apparel sector and aiming at utilizing Egyptian Cotton.
