Egypt Prime discusses the outcomes of the Advisory Committee for Export Development in Textile sectors

Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, the Prime Minister, held a meeting today with members of the Advisory Committee for Export Development to discuss the committee's outputs regarding the sectors of ready-made clothing and textile industries, agricultural products, and health sectors. The meeting was attended by Engineer/ Kamel El-Wazir, the Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport, Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of Planning, Economic Development, and International Cooperation, Mr. Alaa Farouk, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, Engineer/ Hassan Khateeb, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, Dr. Ali El-Ghamrawy, Head of the Egyptian Drug Authority, and Engineer/ Khaled Salah, Director of the Engineering Administration of the Future Egypt Sustainable Development Authority, along with members of the advisory committee.

The Prime Minister began the meeting by indicating that the convening of this meeting follows the outcomes of a previous consolidated meeting that reviewed the outputs of the Advisory Committee for Export Development.

The document prepared by committee members was discussed, and it was agreed to hold several consecutive meetings for each sector individually to discuss the requirements of each sector in order to advance them in the coming phase and increase their production and exports.

In this context, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly clarified that today we will discuss three important sectors: ready-made clothing and spinning and weaving, agricultural products, and health sectors.
