Egypt to form Supreme Council for Textile Industries
Egypt's minister of Foreign Trade and Industry, His Excellency Minister Rachid Mohamed Rachid, announced today the formation of the Supreme Council for Textile Industries.

The council will be chaired by the Minister and include on its board:
The Chairman of Ready Made Garments Export council.
The Chairman of Spinning and Weaving Export council.
The Chairman of Home Textiles Export council.
The Chairman of the Chamber of Textile Industries.
The President of the Alexandria Cotton Exporters Association.
The Chairman of the Holding Company for Spinning and Weaving.
In addition to 4 experts.
This council will be responsible for managing and following up on the execution of Egypt's strategy for the textile and clothing industry and influencing the framework conditions that affect its development.
