The Egyptian cotton exports commitments reached 62.7 K Tons in the 5th & 6th weeks from 20/10/2003 to 29/11/2003.

The commitment percentage for G70 (Extra long Staple) reached 14.6 K Tons with percentage of 23.43% of the total commitments.
The commitment percentage for G788 (Extra long Staple) reached 11.7 K Tons with percentage of 18.69% of the total commitments.
While G86 (Long Staple) reached 36.3 K Tons with percentage of 57.88% which the highest percentage of total commitments.
The number of countries importing Egyptian cotton reached 20 countries till 29/11/2003.
The main three countries are :
1 – Switzerland: 17.1 K Tons with percentage of 27.31% of total commitments.
2 – Italy: 11.4 K Tons with percentage of 27.31% of total commitments.
3 - India: 7.93 K Tons with percentage of 12.63% of total commitments.
