Egypt's Alcotexa sells 255 Tons Cotton In week to Sat
Egypt's Alexandria Cotton Exporters' Association (Alcotexa), said Sunday it made commitments to exports 255 metric tons of various cotton varieties in the week ended Saturday.

Of the total, Alcotexa sold 65 tons of Giza 88, 165 tons of Giza 86, and 25 tons of Giza 87, an Alcotexa official said.
Alcotexa has so far sold 19,676 tons of various cotton varieties, woth $50.9 million, in the 2008/2009 cotton season which started Oct. 26.
