Guess Committed To Mexico Despite $265,000 Jeans Theft

US apparel maker Guess Inc said Friday it intends to keep its production in Mexico, despite having a truckload of jeans worth $265,000 hijacked on the outskirts of Mexico City last weekend. But the Los Angeles-based clothing company has asked the US to pressure the Mexican government to protect its designer jeans and T-shirts from highway robberies in Mexico as they're being trucked to the US.
