The president also called for setting up accurate databases including all the sectors assets to maximize their investment benefits, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady said.
During the meeting, Tawfiq posted the president on his ministrys efforts to improve the textile industry, reviewing the assets of public business companies nationwide.
Commending the ministrys efforts on that score, Tawfiq emphasized that these efforts are based on a number of fundamental principles, i.e protecting
public funds and good management of state assets for the benefit of the national economy, Rady added.
Sisi highlighted Egypts competitive advantages in terms of cotton production at the global level.
