Tunisia Promotes Textile and Clothing in Holland.
A conference on the Tunisian textile and apparel sector was held on June 2, 2010, in the World Fashion Center in Amsterdam, one of the world’s largest fashion trade centers, in collaboration with the Dutch Trade Association for Fashion, “Modint”.

The objective of this conference, organized as part of the awareness campaign dubbed "Looking for growth, Think Tunisia" is to make known the Dutch operators the Tunisian industrial site and the opportunities that it offers, particularly in textiles and clothing. It also aims at promoting the "Texmed" event which is due to be held from June 16 to 18, 2010.
Conferences on the attractiveness of the Tunisian industrial site and testimonies of three Dutch garments, settled in Tunisia (Marathon, Dentri Knit's and the group's Knit Vilenzo / Waalwear) were also showcased during the event.
B to B meetings with Tunisian businessmen, Dutch manufacturers and operators interested in investing in Tunisia, were on the agenda of the conference.
The representative of the Dutch group "Marathon" expressed his intention to create an additional clothing fabrication unit in Kasserine.
