TUNISIA: Textile and Clothing Exports continue to rise.
Textile and clothing exports from Tunisia have risen by 5.6% in value and 8.3% in volume during the first seven months of this year, offering hope that industry recovery is well underway.

Local media reports cite data from the Technical Textile Centre (CETTEX), which suggests this growth is led by the knitwear and textile sectors.
In the month of July, exports rose 10.8% to TND506m (US$343m) compared with the same period last year.
Knitwear exports were up 10.3% in value and 14.7% in volume, while shipments of woven garments grew by 8.7% in value and 7.5% in volume. The fastest growing categories were T-shirts and swimwear.
