Tunisian Textile Exports Up To 4.1% in The First Five Months of 2010.
TUNIS: Tunisian textile and clothing exports posted a 4.1% increase in the first five months of 2010 compared with the same period of 2009.

Indicators published in the June, 2010 issue of the Technical Textile Centre (CETTEX)'s Bulletin also point to a rise of imports in the same period by 9.2%.
Exports to the French market increased only by 0.6% compared with a rise of 31.3% for Spain, 11.7% for Great Britain and 9% for Netherlands. However, Exports to the German and Belgian markets fell by 6.6% and 0.3%, respectively.
Imports from Portugal increased by 53.9% and those from China, Spain and Turkey rose by 48%, 30,8% and 19.95%, respectively, while imports from France fell by 0.17%.
