New Method for the Objective Evaluation of Fabric Surface Waviness
Summary
A new objective evaluation method with which the waviness appearance of fabric surface can be measured objectively and quantitatively has been developed. The absolute coordinates of the fabric surface contour are used to evaluate the fabric appearance using the fractal geometry that can explicitly explain the degree of fabric surface waviness as a decimal fraction with precise grading.
