Job Description
Express Textile Group is seeking an experienced Senior Production Manager to lead our knitwear manufacturing floor in 6th of October City. You will oversee daily production planning, line efficiency, and cross-functional coordination with QA and merchandising teams to meet international buyer deadlines.
This is a senior, hands-on leadership role for someone with deep knitwear manufacturing experience who can drive lean improvements across a 600+ worker facility producing for European and US retail brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise daily knitting, dyeing, and finishing production schedules across 4 production lines
- Drive OTIF (on-time-in-full) delivery performance against buyer purchase orders
- Lead lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and downtime
- Coordinate closely with Quality Assurance to maintain AQL compliance and reduce rework rates
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of 5 line supervisors and 600+ production staff
- Report weekly KPIs (efficiency, output, defect rate) to plant director and group management
Requirements
- 10+ years in garment/knitwear production, with at least 4 years in a managerial role
- Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
- Fluent English; experience working with European or US buyers preferred
- Proficient with ERP/production tracking systems
