Chracteristic Fading Curves for some vat and Vat-disperse dyes
Summary
Some vat and vat-disperse dyes were prepared and used for dyeing polyester, cotton and polyester-cotton blended fabric.The characteristic fading curves were examined.From the results obtained, it was found that dyes which were capable of forming interamolecular hydrogen bonding negative slopes were shown, whereas for the other dyes the slopes were positive.
