Egypt announces strategic plans for development of Egyptian cotton

Egypt Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Medbouli held a meeting on Wednesday to discuss proposals and ways to preserve the status of Egyptian cotton, in the presence of ministers of supply, agriculture, trade, industry and business.

The Prime Minister urged the acceleration of the implementation of the program for the development of gateways and factories of the public business sector, including the supply of advanced Egyptian cotton ginning technology, the development of spinning and weaving companies and providing them with the latest technological equipment, which will increase the capacity of these companies to about four times their current capacity.
