Egypt QIZ exports to the US reach record of 1 Billion USD
Egypt QIZ exports of textile, apparel, and home textile to the US market has exceeded 1 Billion USD in 2018, with an annual surge of 13pct. Egypt apparel exports represented 83%, and Manmade apparel share reached 50pct of Egypt QIZ apparel exports.

Egypt QIZ knitted apparel exports to the US has surged by 32pct in 2018 to reach 452 Million USD, representing only 1pct of the US imports of knitted apparel in 2018, whilst Egypt QIZ woven apparel exports to the US has only surged by 10pct in 2018 to reach 383 Million USD.
Egypt QIZ exports of floor covering to the US in 2018, has remained stagnate with 129 Million USD and being the 4th largest supplier to the US market, whilst Egypt Home textile exports has surged by 27pct to reach only 40 Million USD.
