Syria and Germany to Enhance Cooperation in Textile Industry
Minister of Industry Fouad Issa al-Jouni discussed on Monday with Chairman of Textile Industry Union in Germany R. Strauss and the accompanying delegation prospects of standing cooperation between the two countries in textile field and means of enhancing them.

Talks during the meeting dealt with the possibility of establishing partnerships between the German and the Syrian companies from the private and public sectors and utilizing the capabilities of the two countries in this regard.
For his part, Mr. Strauss pointed out to the need of deepening the German-Syrian relations in the filed of textile and enhancing cooperation between them in marketing, training, and industry.
He underlined that there is a German company concerned with training specialized in textile industry from all over the world and presents the latest German technology in this field.
