China: China`s textile exports recover to US$20 billion in May
According to China’s General Administration of Customs, the nation’s exports of textiles and apparel in May 2011 increased by 23.8% over the same month of last year to US$20,340 million. Exports of textiles rose by 23.7% to US$8,620 million, and those of apparel grew by 23.8% to US$11,720 million.

January-May 2011 exports of textile and apparel increased by 26.6% year-on-year to US$88,830 million: textiles, US$37,550 million (up 31.5%) and apparel, US$51,290 million (up 23.1%).
