Trends in spun yarn prices were mixed in the past two weeks in China. Cotton yarn prices stayed very stable in line with a similar stability in cotton lint prices. Viscose yarn prices dramatically declined over the period, following a sharp drop in viscose staple fiber prices. Polyester spun yarn prices slightly increased or stayed unchanged, depending on counts.
