Denim Premier Vision bets on sustainability and California moods
Denim Premier Vision is warming up its engines for the upcoming edition taking place on 18 and 19 November 2015, in Barcelona, Fira Montjuic, Hall 8. Protagonist of the international denim specialized trade show will be fabric collections and novelties for s/s 2017, mostly inspired by a California relaxed mood.
Six new exhibitors will participate in the show. Among them are Hyosung Corporation, South Korean yarn manufacturer known for producing the Creora spandex filament employed in the underwear, denim and sportswear markets. Other newcomers include Advance Denim Limited, Chinese denim manufacturer, Ariteks Boyacilik, Turkish knitter, Baykanlar Tekstil, Turkish garment manufacturer and launderer and Firemount Textile, Mauritius garment maker and finisher.
On the second day of the show, on 19 November at 11:30 am, at the Principe room, the Denim Smart Conversation will take place. This talk will focus on sustainability and will be moderated by eco-friendly fashion expert Giusy Bettoni. In addition to referring to the first results from a survey started by the show aimed at learning how exhibitors are involved in sustainable practices, Bettoni will host Omer Ahmed, CEO of Artistic Milliners, Jessica Dorfman, designer for Calvin Klein Jeans USA, and Carmen Silla, marketing manager , Jeanologia, on stage. "Our aim is to bring the industry together and discuss about the added value that traceability and sustainability represent for their companies and brands", commented Chantal Malingrey, director of the show.
On the first day, 18 November, they will present the second edition of the Denim Trend Tasting to be held on at 12:30 pm also in Principe room. The seminar will present Michille Branch, international denim industry expert. She will explain her vision of the main s/s 2017 trends.
