The Alexandria Cotton Exporters' Association (Alcotexa) said on Sunday it committed in the week ended March 22 to sell 100 tons of cotton for export.
An Alcotexa statement broke down the sales as 50 tons of Giza 88 and 50 tons of Giza 86.
The new commitment brings Alcotexa's export commitments for the season, which began in September, to 128,956.5 tons of cotton worth $266.21 million, the statement added.
