Egypt: Decline in the Exports of Ready-Made Garments Last April by 6%.
Exports of Ready-Made Garments has reached 1,925 billion pounds during the first quarter of year 2010 with an increase of 7% when comparing to the same period last year.

Dr. Alaa Arafa (Chairman of Ready-Made Garments Export Council,RMGEC) stated that "Exports of RMG have fluctuated during the first 4 months of 2010 where it declined by 6% last January before rising up to 18% in February, and declining again to 12% during March,then it decreased to reach 6% in April, compared to the same period in year 2009".
