Egypt exports reach 17 Billion USD
Egypt exported cotton, pearls, precious stones and jewelery from January to August 2017,according to data released by the Statistics Authority in its latest publications on Egypt’s foreign trade volume for the period.

The total exports of Egypt during the period from January to August 2017 amounted to 17 billion dollars, compared with 14.4 billion dollars during the same period last year, an increase of 2.6 billion dollars, up 17.4%, according to data issued by the Statistics Authority.

Egypt exported $ 1.098 billion worth of pearls and precious stones to the UAE and Turkey. The country exported cotton worth 154.2 million dollars to Italy and Turkey during the first eight months of this year.
