Ahmed Sha’rawy, member of the Board of Directors of the chambers stated that a major factor in the development of the textile sector is the establishment of fashion houses and creating designs, pointing out the lack in such activities due to reliance on imitating the fashion designs created in foreign countries. He added that it is equally important to conduct some studies and researches concerning the consumer taste and requirements in the national and world markets to help enhance the promotion and marketing of products.
