Egypt's Alcotexa sells 1,005 Tons of cotton in past week
The Alexandria Cotton Exporters' Association (Alcotexa) said on Sunday it had committed to sell 1,005 tonnes of cotton in the week that ended on June 13.

The sales comprised 700 tonnes of Giza 88 and 305 tonnes of Giza 86, an official from Alcotexa told Reuters.
The new commitment brings Alcotexa's export commitments for the 2008/2009 season, which began in September, to 19,421 tonnes of cotton worth $50.29 million, the official said.
