Polyester filament prices were significantly raised in the past seven days in China, with POY and FDY gaining 5-6% in only four weeks, as a result. PSF prices were however left unchanged, although raw material costs of polyester producers further increased, in line with higher PTA prices. Polyester producers may be finally forced absorbing the current surge in oil prices.
