The cotton import from the above two countries dropped 35. 8 percent and 13.1 percent in the first five months respectively. The drop of export rebate on textile products, and rises of costs of raw materials and labor have put big pressure on local textile enterprises, and brought about decline of import of import.
Guangdong's export of textile products reached 12.21 billion US dollars in the first five months of this year, dropping 13. 6 percent year on year.
