With a view to promote Tunisia’s position as a major exporter in the textile and clothing sector, seven Tunisian enterprises led by the Tunisian centre for the promotion of exports (CEPEX), took part in the world leading trade show, the International Lingerie Exhibition (SIL), held on January 23 to 25 at Paris Expo, Porte de Versailles, France.
Held annually, the exhibition was an opportunity for Tunisian enterprises to meet with 500 international brand names, 387 exhibitors from France, Italy and England.
This event aimed at promoting the 11th edition of the International Textile and Clothing Exhibition, "TEXMED 2010" which is due to be held from June 16 to18 at the El Kram exhibition Hall, north of Tunis.
The meeting brought together about 500 lingerie brands specializing in lingerie, corsetry, nightwear, men's underwear, labels, young designers and products relating to the world of intimates as well as software, cosmetics and merchandising.
