A Turkish state minister said that Turkey’s exports in the first 4 months of 2008 exceeded the country’s total exports in 2002 and 2003. State Minister Kursad Tuzmen said Turkey’s exports reached 47 billion USD in the first 4.5 months of 2008. Tuzmen also said Turkey’s textile machinery exports would reach 1 billion USD in a couple of years.
Uganda’s Vice President Gilbert Balibaseka Bukenya, said that Turkey’s private sector was the leading force for the country’s economy.
At the end, a cooperation agreement was signed between Turkish and Egyptian textile machinery manufacturers.
