Decline In Textile Receipts
During the third quarter of 2003 the receipts of the Moroccan textile and leather industry dropped by 2.2%, according to Moroccan economic think thank said in its newsletter.

The fall is due to a decrease in household demand and consumer industries, the publication reads, speculating that the sector activity may lose pace by a slight 0.3% due to an expected decrease of local demand.
