EGYPT: An Exihibition for Indian Textiles in Egypt.
An Indian delegation from the promotional export council for cotton textiles is visiting Cairo during the period from 24 to 26 October to find out the current trade opportunities in the textile sector between India and Egypt.

The delegation includes a group of businessmen representing companies working in the textile industry in India where there will be an exhibition and meetings will be held with Egyptian counterparts, where the Egyptian participants can identify the different types of Indian cotton textiles, as well as making deals with Indian companies.
The Indian cotton textile exports to Egypt amounted about $ 139 million in 2008, while decreased to $ 90 million in 2009 due to the global economic crisis.
