SOUTH AFRICA: S.Africa August retail sales slow to 4.6 pct y/y
South Africa's retail sales growth slowed to 4.6 percent year-on-year in August at constant prices compared with an upwardly revised 8.0 increase in July, Statistics South Africa said on Wednesday.

Stats S.A said retail sales grew by 6.7 percent in the three months to August, compared with the same period a year ago, also at constant prices.
Economists on a Reuters poll forecast sales growth would expand by 8.4 percent year-on-year in August.
