With a few sectors escaping the impact of the galloping global oil price, the synthetic textile industry appears to have got away relatively lightly with the increasing demand pointing to growing consumption pattern.
“Oil prices have gone up. But consumption has not gone down,” Indo Rama Synthetics Ltd (IRSL) chairman and managing director (CMD), Mr OP Lohia, today said releasing his company’s financial results.
