KABO Purchases Trade Mark of France's ‘JIL’.

Egypt’s KABO has recently concluded the purchase of the ‘JIL’ Trade Mark from France’s JIL International in a deal worth 22 million EGP ( $3.95 million USD).

KABO can now use the ‘JIL’ Trade Mark in Egypt in addition to all Arab and African countries.

KABO’s CEO, Mr. Wael Olama, stated that the company intends to pursue a strong expansion into Arab countries and entry into African markets with its products that carry the ‘JIL’ Trade Mark. He added that the company has begun to regain its local strength and to control the majority market share of underwear and loungewear by means of product development and distribution through 40 new outlets that have been opened in the past months. Olama predicts a considerable growth in KABO’s exports and also mentioned that KABO is in negotiations with a Turkish partner to set up a new ‘seamless’ manufacturing facility in Egypt.
