USA: Perry Ellis Enters Licensing pact with Smart Apparel U.S. for Tailored Clothing
SAN FRANCISCO (Thomson Financial) - Perry Ellis International Inc. said Thursday it has entered into a licensing agreement with Youngor Ltd's Smart Apparel U.S. subsidiary for tailored clothing. Financial terms weren't disclosed.

Under the agreement, Smart Apparel will design, manufacture and distribute a collection of tailored clothing, including men's suits, suit separates and sport jackets, for the U.S. market under the Perry Ellis and Perry Ellis Portfolio brands. The agreement excludes tuxedos.
The spring line will be available in January 2009 at department stores such as Macy's, Bon-Ton, Belk, Gottschalk's and Dillard's and at specialty stores.
